🌿 Our Vision

Ocóyái exists to help restore relationship between modern seekers and Indigenous wisdom.

Not as content or a trend, but as a living path carried by elders, communities, and responsibility.

We believe information is everywhere yet understanding is rare.

We believe that Indigenous tribes hold much understanding that they want to share.

The barriers of language, the remote nature of surviving communities on mountain tops or jungles, and other factors have prevented this work from being shared.

Our work is to create that proximity using technology, Starlink internet, and grit.

🧭 Our North Star

Interest in plant medicine and ancestral traditions is growing quickly.

The modern world is sicker, more anxious, and more impatient than ever.

At the same time:

Languages are disappearing.
Indigenous Elders are aging.

Teachings and plant medicines are being fragmented, commercialized, or removed from context.

Many people are trying to learn from YouTube documentaries about traditions that were never meant to be learned that way.

Ocóyái exists to close that gap.

To preserve Ancestral knowledge while helping people improve their lives in a grounded, community based, and elder guided way.

🏗️ What We're Building

Ocóyái is an online ancestral school.

- A place where people can learn directly from Indigenous elders and establish relationships with them

- Develop true long-term understandings from these traditions

- Gain life-long community and guidance from both Western coaches and Indigenous Elders

- Improve their own lives by simplifying and slowing down.

This is a shift away from peak experiences, quick fixes, and instant results towards a grounded, respectful, slow walk.

⚙ How We Work

We put Indigenous elders at the center of this school.

They choose what is shared and shape how it is explained.
They influence the rhythm of learning.

Our role is infrastructure.

We record long-form conversations, courses, and hold weekly live meetings with them as they explain the lessons of their grandparents.

We translate across languages without stripping cultural meaning.

We create language courses so that people over time can understand more of their original intent.
We archive teachings so they remain accessible for future generations.

Students don’t just consume material.
They learn in proximity to living voices, ongoing dialogue, and context that unfolds slowly.

That means:

We don’t extract teachings into bite-sized content to fit short attention spans.
We don’t present ceremony as something to purchase.
We don’t promise rapid healing or dramatic transformation.

We create orientation, continuity, and space for learning that matures over time.

We are building something designed to last.

🗣️ Who This Is For

This school is for people improving their lives, on a serious path of their own, or desiring the antidote for a crazy stressed world.

You don’t need experience and you don’t need to know where this path leads.

But you do need a willingness to slow down and learn in relationship rather than chase intensity.

Some students are considering their first ceremony.
Some have already worked with medicine and are looking for deeper context.
Some may never drink and still feel called to understand the traditions that hold this work.

They are less interested in quick answers and more interested in learning how to listen.

This space is not built for crisis management.

It’s built for long-term studentship and those willing to take responsibility for their own lives.

If you feel drawn to Indigenous elders, language, and worldview, you are in the right place.

🛣️ The Path

We built Ocóyái as a layered path so people can move at the pace their life allows.

Most people begin with the doorway.

A simple entry point where you can learn foundations, listen to elder conversations, and spend time in a community

oriented around respect rather than urgency.

From there, students often deepen naturally.

They join live calls.
They ask better questions.
They begin to understand context instead of collecting information.

For those that want to deepen their studies that can include online mentorship or eventually spending time in person where learning happens live.

🕯️ The Long View

Each Indigenous tribe carries with it stories passed down from mother to daughter, father to son, elder to community.

We are recording these world views, week by week.

In the future we see representatives from all indigenous peoples, North and South, East and West, to reconnect all of humanity to our shared roots.

We are developing language courses so there will always be speakers of native languages, and allowing students to deeply understand Indigenous worldview and cosmology.

This helps Westerners live more grounded lives, and Indigenous families share their knowledge while supporting their communities online for the first time.

This is Eagle and Condor.
